Space Scout

 

The Space Scout is periodically mentioned in RG Mitchell advertising material from the mid-1960s up to the early 1980s.  Unfortunately, I know very little about it.  The film above is the only one I have ever seen of one in action.  There was also one of these outside a small toy shop in Dudley for many years.  However, that one took a totally different shape, so there were obviously several different versions of this ride made (similar to Jerry the Giraffe and his many different face shapes!)
