Manufactured by RG Mitchell, the Budgie the Little Helicopter ride was released in 1994. It was a very popular ride at both amusement arcades and shopping locations.

This ride holds special memories for me personally. I was a huge fan of Budgie the Little Helicopter as a child and I remember being thrilled when I saw my first Budgie ride at Primark in Wembley. I rode it many times while singing the theme tune at the top of my voice, much to other shoppers' disgust and my mum's embarrassment!
