Jumbo

 Jumbo was manufactured by Whittaker Brothers of Oldham.  She made her debut at the Whittaker Brothers Preview in 1991, in time for the 1992 season.  She was originally coloured in grey and came with a red and yellow howdah on her back.  Later versions were sold without the canopy, and the elephant herself was recoloured in pink in the late 1990s.

The ride played "Nellie the Elephant" when in motion and had a push button which I believe originally played a trumpeting elephant sound effect.

According to an old Whittaker Brothers catalogue, the original ride with howdah measured 62" x 25" x 69" and weighed 198lbs.
