Double Animal Ride

 

Edwin Hall Catalogue, 1963 - "Baby Muffin" and "Baby Zebbie Zebra"

The Edwin Hall Double Animal Ride was released in 1963, and could be purchased with a variety of different toy combinations.  The most common versions featured "Baby Muffin the Mule" and "Baby Zebbie Zebra", or Twin Galloper horses.

Marwell Zoo, 1977.  The ride shown here is a later 1970s model, featuring Basil Brush and Jumbo the Elephant.  This was a rare combination and is in fact the only one of its kind that I've ever seen.  The ride was still at Marwell Zoo when I went there as a child twenty years after this was filmed!
