Copa Coin-o-Matics was a Blackpool-based amusement machine manufacturer. Their first kiddie rides were released in the mid-1960s, the most popular being the Mini Ferrari.
The company had a close working relationship with Superjoy Amusements and Modern Products, which makes it hard to pinpoint exactly who designed and built their rides at any set time.
Managing director K Sellars, along with H.E Cockerill (of Superjoy Amusements), set up a company called Copa Enterprises SA in Malaga in 1968, to build and distribute the Mini Ferrari, along with two of their other rides, Loppy Lugs and Mini Mouse. Spain wouldn't allow imports of full amusement rides but they could send parts to be built there.
