From what I can understand, this ride was originally manufactured by Blackpool-based Copa Coin-o-Matics in late 1965. By 1968, the Ferrari's fibreglass body was being manufactured by Modern Products and then sent to Superjoy Amusements of Blackpool who built the car into a coin operated ride. I'm unclear who actually designed the ride but presume it was Copa Coin-o-Matics. It was apparently their best selling ride.
It had an engine note which changed when the genuine racing wooden-rimmed steering wheel was turned.
It was distributed by Williams Bros. and cost £255.00 in the mid-1960s.
Location unknown (possibly Neath), late 1960s/early 1970s
