Bi-Plane

 The Bi-Plane was originally manufactured by Fibrecast for Eddie Brooks in the mid-1980s.  It was sold in a variety of colours with a human-style face on the front.  It would later become part of Bafco's "Classic Rides" range.


1990s Bafco Catalogue

It was not one of their most popular rides.  In fact, I think I only ever saw three of them as a child in the 1990s.  Two of those were on Claremont Pier in Lowestoft, one in yellow, the other in blue.


Claremont Pier, Lowestoft, September 2012.  Sadly, only the yellow bi-plane remained by the time I started filming rides.  This plane is also long gone now though, so I'm glad I filmed him while I had the chance.

Production of the ride ceased in the late 1990s.
