Mini Fire Engine

Whittaker Brothers Leaflet, 1990s

Released in the 1980s, the Mini Fire Engine was part of Whittaker Brothers' "Mini Rides" range.  While it was only suitable for the smallest children, it could be fitted into just about any location, making it a very popular ride with smaller arcades and shops.

Will's Plaice, East Runton, April 2019

It had a "cut-out" opening on the right hand side, which extended its usability a little.  I can clearly remember riding in these when I was maybe six or seven, and hanging my feet out of the side so that I could still fit inside!

Clacton-on-Sea, August 1996

The ride measured 37" x 20" x 40".
