Clacton-on-Sea, August 1998
The Grand Prix Motorcycle was manufactured by Automatic Toys Modena of Italy. I believe it dates from the 1980s, but am currently unsure of the exact release year. The original version came on a regular base with a "Grand Prix" decal on the side, while later editions came on a "road-style" base with the coin slot concealed in a moulded petrol pump. All have very detailed paintwork with an American theme, usually with either Native American faces or eagle heads pictured on the front.

This ride was very common at British seaside resorts in the mid-late 1990s, but has sadly become quite rare in more recent years.
