1990s BAFCO leaflet (Rocking)
Designed for BAFCO by David Fox, the Columbia Space Shuttle was one of their earliest rides, released in 1981. Production continued into the 1990s under their "Futuristic Ride" range, at which point the name was shortened to plain "Space Shuttle". Originally released as a rocking ride, a version with a mechanical lift motion was offered later.

The mechanical lift version measured 60" x 30" x 47" while the rocking version measured 60" x 30" x 42". The prices, as of the 2000 BAFCO price list, were £2,495.00 or £1,795.00 respectively.
