Manufactured by Italian company Rondina, this steam engine was released in 1978. It was distributed in the UK by Model Coin.

The engine was also sold in a tracked variety alongside the shunting coin operated version. It came complete with very loud sound effects, the volume of which could be controlled by the rider as if the engine was stopping and then starting again.
