Designed by Les Quaintance, this Trigger was part of Whittaker Brothers' range of Musical Animal rides.  He is a smaller version of "The Pony Express", Whittaker Brothers' first ever kiddie ride, also designed by Les Quaintance.

Trigger was one of the rides that Whittaker Brothers continue to produce after reinventing their Musical Animal kiddie rides range in 1974.  While the original Trigger had been painted a dark brown, the new version had a light tan coat.
