Released in 1965, Snowy was one of BRH Fibreglass's original range of three rides (the other two being Pandy the Panda and Timmy the Snail). The horse resembled the kind used on fairground gallopers with an ornate saddle and a stretched out "jumping" pose. Snowy was originally painted in white (as the name suggests!) with a brown mane and tail.

Her original base had her name painted on the side in bright, blocky lettering with a cartoon-like portrait of her face looking through a circle beneath. A later version of Snowy saw her sold on a base that resembled a red brick wall.
The ride was distributed by Coughtrey's Automatic Supplies as were all of BRH Fibreglass's earlier models.

The Snowy seen in the above video had obviously been repainted and renamed "Horsey". Amazingly, the horse has apparently been at The Villager for many years and yet I never saw her when I was a child. I suppose we never took long enough away from ride hunting at the arcades to think about looking inside a pub! Sadly, "Horsey" Snowy has since disappeared from The Villager so I was lucky to get this film in her final years.
