The World's Fair, January 31st 1959
A beautiful miniature reproduction of an Elizabethan galleon, this enchanting ride was released by Edwin Hall & Co. in January 1959. Using the same mechanism as Tommy Tug Boat, the ship had a very realistic movement, sailing along on its own blue canvas sea.
An alternative version released at the same time was the "Viking Vessel", very similar in design but with some obvious aesthetic differences.
